This project involves the creation of a comprehensive logistics management application for a medium-sized logistics company operating over 50 vehicles. The aim was to digitize operations and consolidate various communication channels—calls, emails, WhatsApp messages—into a single, unified platform.

The system features three levels of access (Administration, Mechanics, Drivers) and offers functionalities such as voyage creation, automated container logging, advanced trip planning, and real-time driver data within the EU. The implementation resulted in increased operational efficiency, reduced manual workload, and improved communication across all departments.

In the rapidly evolving logistics industry, companies must adopt digital solutions to remain competitive. The client company faced challenges due to fragmented communication channels and manual processes, leading to inefficiencies and increased operational costs. This project addresses these issues by developing an integrated application that streamlines logistics operations and enhances internal communication.

Problem Definition

The logistics company relied on disparate sources—calls, emails, WhatsApp — for daily operations, causing delays, miscommunication, and redundant manual work. There was a pressing need to digitize operations and create a cohesive internal environment to improve efficiency and data management.

Methodology

A user-centered design approach was employed, involving stakeholders from all access levels to gather requirements. Agile development methodologies facilitated iterative progress and continuous feedback integration. The application was developed using modern IT solutions, best UX/UI principles, and frameworks suitable for cross-platform deployment.
